JUNE 2014 PRAYER and FASTING

 

 Invitation To Participate In A Season Of
Blessings And Breakthroughs

Every year in this ministry (Living Word Revival Ministries), we specially set aside the month of June to seek the face of God in prayer and fasting.

Apart from being a time of personal spiritual upliftment, empowerment and restoration, it is a time to deal with specific issues, needs, and problems in prayer as we press in for breakthroughs, open doors and turn-around in our lives. It is also a time to pray for the advancement of God's kingdom in our land and throughout the world.

I would therefore like to invite you to join us in this year's prayer and fasting throughout the month of June (that is from the 1st to 30th of June).

We break the fast each day in the evening (by or after 6.00 pm) and continue the next day throughout the month.
If for any good reason you are not able to fast from morning till evening on any day, flexibility is allowed which means you could break the fast by either 2pm or 4pm on such days. The bottom line is to put in your best each day.

Participants will have the opportunity to send in their key prayer points through a dedicated webpage. Last year we had a lot of testimonies from participants as we fasted and prayed for each other during the June fast.

The webpage will also contain essential ministrations and materials that will help to encourage and strengthen participants as they undertake this life-changing program. Access to that webpage will be granted to you once you register to participate.

If you have never done this kind of thing before, don't be frightened or discouraged. Like they say, a thousand-mile journey begins with a step. You will be surprised to find out that it is not as hard as you may think once your mind is made up to do it.

Therefore as much as possible I would like to encourage you to take advantage of this special season of waiting upon the Lord - it is about the best way to trigger your turn-around.
